BACKGROUNDS
Hello lovely people reading this text. I’m going to start breaking down my contribution as a Designer/Animator for the Patriot Act Show with Hasan Minhaj.
Buckle those seatbelts, and put on those sunglasses … its about to get real colorful.
Backgrounds for this show are a designed, collage-style canvas to hold additional infographic elements while also setting the tone for the current subject covered in the show. I would like to mention that due to the workflow and the time constraints; everyone contributed a bit to most elements. Digging into these backgrounds will reveal a beautiful Frankenstein-esque process with a tooth here, and arm from over there and of course, blood sweat and tears.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE.
And I’m very lucky to have worked with such wonderful people that have helped grow my work and been there to support me in my times of confusion, render & expression errors, and every clipping that has been lost on a roundtrip to tiny.
